Hot Buttered Rum has always dedicated itself to cross-generational entertainment, ensuring that many of its live shows are kid- and family-friendly, and often taking breaks from its grueling tour schedule to play special kids' sets. (People often joke that perhaps Hot Buttered Rum should call itself "Hot Buttered Punch" when performing for the little ones.) Just as the kids love HBR's standard shows, adults seem to love the kids' shows! Perhaps this multi-generational appeal comes from having a band comprised of former camp counselors and music teachers. Or perhaps it's just because the members are themselves kids at heart.
Whatever the reason, if you are lucky enough to catch a rare live kids' performance, or to listen to a CD on a long car-ride with a little one peacefully singing along from the car-seat, HBR's kids' music is sure to entertain your child and inner child alike!
