Friends and Family,
Following the announcement of Zac's departure, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support through this transition. While we are very excited about the future of HBR, we hope it goes without saying that Zac will be greatly missed. We wish our brother Zac nothing but the best and wish him great success in his future endeavors. Although Zac has already played his last show with HBR, we hope you will join us in continuing to honor him: Our band and community would not be the same without Zac's tremendous contributions.
As we look toward the future, the band remains excited about continuing to play shows, produce music, connect with new fans, and contribute to our community. Today, we head off to the Midwest for a two-week tour that will bring us through some of our favorite towns. We are excited that our long-time friend and collaborator Matt Butler (Everyone Orchestra) will join us on drums for most of these shows. Matt will also join us (along with Phil Ferlino of New Monsoon) at some shows on our upcoming New Year's run in Denver. As HBR evolves, we look forward to seeing you in the Midwest, Colorado, and during our California and East Coast shows in January.
We also are excited to get into the studio early next year to begin work on our next studio album, which Tim Bluhm (Mother Hips) will produce. Matt Butler will join us for the recording, and we are getting more and more excited about this project each day as we rehearse and narrow the song selection. We've been away from the studio for too long, and we can't wait to go back.
Thanks again, everyone, for all of your support, and we hope to see you soon!
-HBR
