"A shared community dedicated to good times accessed through sound waves, dance and a neighborly spirit…Las Tortugas has all the makings of an annual event that folks will mark on the calendar in permanent ink." - JamBase
UPDATE: OFF SITE CAMPING IN THE NATIONAL FOREST Cabins and on-site camping for Las Tortugas are SOLD OUT. While there are still a few single day cabin rentals available by calling the Lodge at 209/379-2606, for those Tortugas patrons looking for an inexpensive nearby offsite camping option, DISPERSED CAMPING IS PERMITTED ON NATIONAL FOREST LANDS. Please contact the Groveland Ranger District Office of the National Forest Service at 209-962-7825 to get important details on the regulations for dispersed camping. (Please note that campfires are currently prohibited in the area – call ahead to the Forest Service for up to date campfire guidelines. Also note that camping in the meadow across from the Evergreen lodge is strictly prohibited.)
Upon arrival to the event, "off-site campers" must check in at the Box Office which is located across from the Lodge Front Desk to obtain your Event Wristband. There will be Temporary Parking in front of the Lodge Tavern. Guests will be required to leave their vehicle keys &/or a person behind with your vehicle while we set you up with your entry credentials for Tortugas IV. Upon completing this process, please immediately remove your vehicle from Temporary Parking, so we can help your fellow Tortugians.
If you take advantage of off-site camping options, please make sure your camping location in the National Forest is appropriately located and appropriately dispersed. If you have any question about this, please see us at the Box Office for assistance/guidance.
