Schedule of Events
5/2/06 Update:
Online Ticket Sales for the Meltdown will close on Thursday May 4th at 5:00pm After this time, weekend passes and 1 day tickets will be available only onsite at the Evergreen to purchase in person on a first come first basis starting on Friday at 2:00pm. Please do not call the Lodge to try and reserve tickets. Thank You.
Traveling to Yosemite: Yosemite Hi-way Update For HBR Meltdown Attendees: Please be aware that the Yosemite area highway system is experiencing various issues and detours. Not to worry, though, you can still get to the Lodge with a little extra driving time. Please look at a map if needed to make yourself familiar with the following.
HWY 140 leading from Mariposa into Yosemite Valley is closed because of a rock slide and will not open until after the HBR weekend. Folks coming from all parts of the Bay Area and areas north of the Bay Area should take Hwy 120 (most northern Yosemite Highway) to Evergreen Lodge.
Be aware that HWY 120 has a detour about an hour west of Evergreen Lodge, just before reaching the town of Groveland. Before reaching the detour, you will see a sign that says HWY 120 is closed. DO NOT WORRY! Continue on HWY 120 until the actual detour. You can take the detour which takes you on to HWY 49 to the town of Coulterville and then back on to HWY 120 east of Groveland. This will add about 30 minutes to your drive. For well running cars and other small vehicles (no RV, bus, etc..), you have the option to continue about a half mile past the detour and where the road is blocked, take the STEEP 2 mile long Old Priest Grade which will reconnect you with HWY 120. Continue through Groveland and turn left onto Evergreen Road, one mile before HWY 120 entrance to Yosemite. Please drive slow on Evergreen Road!
HWY 41 is open and is available for southern California and central coast drivers.
4/23/06 Update: We are honored to add The Overall Experience to the Meltdown lineup. We had a wild night with these guys when we were up in Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. It turns out that they are from Lodi, CA. We were impressed with their colorful stage show and bold unified style. The Overall Experience is just the flavor to kick off the Meltdown on Friday night.
4/17/06 Update: Due to strong interest, camping on-site at the Evergreen is available for Thursday evening. Call the Evegreen to reserve your campsite.
4/10/06 Update: The cabins on-site at Evergreen Lodge are no longer available. -Camping is still available on site. You can book your reservation by calling the Evergreen at (2109) 379-2606. For more information visit: On-site Camping & Alternative Lodging Options
